Feeding Units
Mainly agglomerated materials (or powders) are conveyed and fed using vibration.
Liquid materials are conveyed and fed using a pressure head or pumping pressure.
Features
- For volumetric pressure feeding, mainly a screw feeder is used.
- A suitable blade shape such as a full blade or ribbon (coil) type is selected based on the physical properties of the powder.
- An electromagnetic feeder is mainly applied for the vibration conveyor.
- A suitable vibrating plate (trough) shape is selected based on the agglomerate properties.
- For conveying with a pressure head or pumping pressure, a suitable surface finish and pump performance is selected based on the viscosity and physical properties of the liquid.
